Etxepare Basque Institute to continue business as usual

Given the measures established by the Spanish Government to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus, we want you to know that the Etxepare Basque Institute will remain open, although we will be working partially from home. During this quarantine it will be business as usual in our mission to disseminate Basque culture. We remain at your service.
During the state of emergency, other than direct customer service, we will be available as always for any questions you may have either by phone (943 023 400) or email. The contacts and email addresses of the Institute´s staff are available on our website: www.etxepare.eus
The Coronavirus, however, has caused the cancellation or temporary postponement of some of the international events involving the Etxepare Basque Institute, such as festivals, fairs and cultural events, as well as the university chair programs and cultural activities organized by the readerships. From the Institute we are trying to reorganize and address all of them as soon as possible.
Most of the Basque language and culture teaching services that we manage internationally continue to operate. At almost all universities, the academic program of the readers is currently taking place online. Many Basque classes at the Euskal Etxeak Basque Centers have also been moved online and we are working to make sure all of them are available online.
