Womex 2017: call for proposals open

WOMEX, the largest international world´s music fair, opens its 23rd edition from 25 to 29 October 2017, in Katowice (Poland). The registration period to take part in the fair is now open: if you want to showcase your music, discuss your burning topic, screen your film or spread your knowledge you can sign up through this link. Proposals can be made in four categories: Showcases, DJ Summit, Film and Conference & Mentor.

Once again, Basque music will have its own space at the fair, at the stand Basque Music, organized by Musika Bulegoa with the help of the Etxepare Basque Institute. The Institute also supports Basque groups at the fair.

WOMEX is an international networking platform for the music industry worldwide. The annual five-day event includes a bustling Trade Fair, a showcase festival, conference and film program and the festive opening ceremonies and awards. This year about 1470 companies and 2400 representatives from 90 different countries are expected.
