"Txistusymphonic World" with Garikoitz Mendizabal in South Korea

Basque flute player Garikoitz Mendizabal is travelling to Korea in March, in order to offer up to five concerts. Mendizabal will perform two symphonic concerts with the orchestras  “Chun Cheon Philharmonic Orchestra” and the “Gyongbook Philharmonic Orchestra”, the second one with the help of some members of the Tolosa Basque Flute Municipal Band. The band will also join him in three more smaller line-up concerts. Besides, the orchestra director will be Unai Urrecho, a Basque citizen resident in Korea.

This will be the first time for the Basque Flute to be played in Korea, so it is really a very challenging and relevant chance for the dissemination of this Basque instrument, unique in the world.
