The FETEN, European Fair of Performing Arts for Children list of winners, full of Basque names!

The European Fair of Performing Arts for Children, FETEN, is a space that promotes international exchanges and cooperation between the various sectors of creation and distribution of the performing arts.

The festival annually honors the most outstanding productions of the year, and once again the record book is full of  Basque companies and artists. Jokin Oregi has been awarded the Prize for Best Director for his work on the play Pinocchio, figlio di Geppetto, by Companyia de Comediants La Baldufa. The jury also highlighted the creativity, drama and performance space show Quijote, a play created by the Markeliñe company. The Interpreter Asier Sota has been awarded as the Best Actor for his role in Ali Baba and the 40 thieves, play performed by Borobil Teatroa. And Txarlestrup by Zirika Zirkus has received a special mention of the jury in the street theater section. Very good news, which prove once more again the high quality of the Basque professionals. The Institute is really proud of supporting them to attend the FETEN fair. Congratulations!
