The Basque cinema has a place in London: ´Basque Window´

The London Spanish Film Festival, which began on September 24, has offered again a section to Basque cinema, with the support of the Etxepare Basque Institute: Basque Window. The festival, which takes place these days and until 30 September, brought together four Basque films in this section.
On September 25 the successful film ‘Ocho Apellidos Vascos’ of Emilio Martínez Lázaro was screened in the Regent Street Cinema of London. They have also included in the festival three works presented for the first time in England. ‘A escondidas’(2014), by Mikel Rueda, was screened on september 27 and today, September 28, the documentary ‘El último adiós de Bette Davies’ (2014) of Predro Gonzalez Bermudez and the film ‘Negociador’(2014) of Cobeaga will be presented.
Mikel Rueda, Borja Cobeaga and Pedro González Bermúdez have visited the festival to present their works. This will be the 11th edition of the festival in London, bringing together films, documentaries and shorts.
