"Poetes itinerants" recital in Barcelona, with Basques Rikardo Arregi, Iñigo Astiz and Itxaro Borda

As a result of the collaborative work between the Etxepare Basque Institute and the Institut Ramon Llull , Basque and Catalan poets will offer a bilingual recital on May 28 at 18:00 at the headquarters of the Institut Llull in Barcelona. The Basque poetry will be represented by Rikardo Arregi, Iñigo Astiz Itxaro Borda, while the Catalan poets will be Mireia Calafell, Jordi Juliá and Jordi Llavina.

Àlex Susanna, director of the Institut Ramon Lull, Aizpea Goenaga, director of the Etxepare Basque Institute and Mari Jose Olaziregi, director for the Promotion and Dissemination of the Basque Language will attend the event as well.

This project includes also a return trip: next Autumn the Basque and Catalan poets will meet again, this time in the Basque Country, in a recital that will take place at the Tabakalera center in Donostia.
