This year the MIN Awards, the annual meeting point for independent music, will celebrate its tenth edition, and the deadline to submit works is now open. Among the 22 categories, the Etxepare Prize will be awarded again to the best album in the Basque language, with the collaboration of the Institute.

The registration process of this tenth edition will be open until January 19. All artists with recordings (albums, EPs or singles) published in 2017 through independent or self-published record labels will be able to present their candidacy. Video clips and live shows can also be submitted. You can now sign in free of charge at the www.premiosmin.com.

As in the last edition, the MIN prizes will continue encouraging greater audience participation. The public will be the first to vote among all registered participants to choose the 30 semifinalists in each category. In the next phase, a professional jury will decide on the 5 nominees. The names of the winners will be unveiled at the awards ceremony on March 14 at the Teatro Circo Price in Madrid.

The MIN Awards were created in 2009 for the purpose of recognizing artistic creation, cultural diversity, new talent and quality productions published by the musical SMEs at the national level, and to promote independent music at the national and international level.
