Open calls: grants for theater tours, literary translations and travel bags

2015/04/16

Euskara. Kultura. Mundura.

The Etxepare Basque Institute has already launched the first calls of 2015 in its annual subsidy lines. One of them is the call that offers grants for theater tours and seasons in 2015, which supports the representations and theater seasons that take place outside the geographical scope of the Basque language. Decisions will be made in two periods: the first for the proposals received by April 30, and the second one for those presented before  July 15

The application deadline to receive a grant for literary translation 2015 is also open, until June 8th. This call subsidizes the translation of literary works originally written and published in Basque language, ant the translation into other languages (except Basque) of literary works written and published in Spanish by authors born or domiciled in the Basque Autonomous Community.

Finally, Etxepare has also opened the call to give travel grants for the internationalization of creators and film and literary agents, 2015. These grants may be requested until the funds end, always  prior to October 31.

The rest of the  grant calls managed by the Institute -among others those that support music and dance  tours, activities related to visual arts or attending art fairs- will be published from late April to June.
