Open call to select the Jon Bilbao Visiting Research Fellow

The Etxepare Basque Institute and the Nevada System of Higher Education (University of Nevada, Reno, USA) have announced a call to select the Jon Bilbao Visiting Research Fellow. Deadline for applications is March 2nd.

The selected researcher will design a research project about the Basque Diaspora and stay for a month at the University of Nevada. The one-month stay will be between August and December 2023. The application form is available on the Etxepare Institute and the Nevada System of Higher Education websites. You can find ours here. Since its creation in 2014, the Jon Bilbao Visiting Research Fellow program aims to further collaboration centring on research around the Basque Diaspora and to identify new collaboration opportunities. The chosen researcher will work at the Center for Basque Studies, one of the world´s largest collections of Basque-related materials.
