Open call for Alan R. King Research Fellowship

The Etxepare Basque Institute and the University of Wales Trinity Saint David have published a call for applications for a research fellowship. The closing date for applications is May 9th.

The successful candidate will undertake a six-week placement at the Centre for Advanced Welsh and Celtic Studies (CAWCS) in Aberystwyth, where he/she will carry out academic and research activities in the area of Basque sociolinguistics. The call is posted on the websites of the Etxepare Basque Institute (here) and the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.

This purpose for the fellowship launched in March 2022 is to promote research and academic collaboration in aspects of Basque and Welsh sociolinguistics and language policy and to foster mutual understanding between the two languages and cultures.
