Cultural programmers from Aquitaine visit festivals in the Basque Country
The Aquitaine.eus project continues to promote cross-border relationships between producers and cultural stakeholders in the Basque Country and the Aquitaine region of France. In order to showcase Basque productions in Aquitaine, several cultural programmers have visited Basque festivals in recent months.

The txistulari of Zestoa Garikoitz Mendizabal and the accordionist from Ordizia Aitor Furundarena will offer a traditional Basque music workshop on 22 and 23 of November.

Basque jazz at Rocher de Palmer, Bordeaux
November 4 at 7:00 pm, Iñaki Salvador Trio will offer a concert in the famous cultural center Le Rocher de Palmer, in the outskirts of Bordeaux.

Basque companies at fest´arts, Libourne
Three Basque street theatre and dance companies have participated in the International Street Arts Festival FEST´ARTS thanks to the Aquitaine.eus programme.

´Soka´ multimedia exhibition at Lons
From November 8th to December 10th the Mediateka in Lons (Bearne) will host the multimedia exhibition SOKA, that will be shown out of the Basque Country for the first time.

Basque plays, ready for theatres in France
Within the programme of the International Theatre Fair of Donostia DFERIA, four Basque plays have been shown with surtitles in French and English, giving international programmers the opportunity to see the plays in their original version.
