University of Helsinki, Nerea Ibarzabal

The bertsolari and writer Nerea Ibarzabal has been invited to the University of Helsinki, through the Etxepare Euskal Institutua lecturer, to lead a colloquium between bertsolaritza and literature, to be held on 25 March.

The session, designed in a workshop/presentation format, will be aimed at undergraduate students of Spanish and teachers and researchers from the Department of Romance Languages. The aim is to work on the relationship between writing and bertsolaritza and the relationship between creation and language, giving special importance to the place of bertsolaritza in Basque culture.
