The Annecy Festival, one of the leading events in the animation industry, will be held from 9 to 15 June. Some of the most important professionals in the world of international animation will attend both the festival itself and the MIFA market. Once again, several Basque productions will be present at this year’s event, thanks to Basque. Audiovisual.
MIFA (Annecy International Animation Film Market) will run from 11 to 14 June. Basque-Audivisual. will be taking four Basque productions to the event:
- ‘Sultana´s Dream’ (2023, Isabel Herguera).
- ‘When it comes (it will have your eyes)’ (2023, Izibene Oñederra).
- ‘Kima & Amik’ (2023, Juanjo Elordi).
- ‘The Invisibles’ (N/A, Imanol Zinkunegi)
‘Sultana´s Dream’ and ‘When it comes (it will have your eyes)’ will compete in the Official Selection at the Annecy Festival in the feature film and short film categories, respectively.
