Izaro to perform at BIME Bogotá 2024 with support from BASQUE. MUSIC.

The upcoming edition of BIME Bogotá will be held from 8 to 11 May 2024. Basque musician Izaro will take part in the showcase organised by BASQUE. MUSIC.

The International Music Industry Conference, which began twelve years ago in Bilbao, will gather at its South American headquarters for the third year in a row from 8-11 May.

The platform for the internationalisation of music in the Basque Country, promoted by The Musika Bulegoa (Basque Music Office), the Etxepare Basque Institute and the Basque Government, will once again be at BIME in Bogotá, Colombia, to build artistic and professional bridges between Latin America and the Basque Country.

Izaro will present ‘Cerodenero’, her latest álbum, in Bogotá on 9 May. Following its launch at the 2023 Durangoko Azoka Fair, Cerodenero has continued to delight audiences.

Every year BIME brings together music industry professionals from over 50 countries. The Bogotá programme maintains the essence and innovative spirit that have that have garnered international acclaim for the event. Many of the wide range of topics, including artistic trends, festivals, sustainable development, technological innovation, recorded and live music, platforms, startups and legislative frameworks, will be discussed in panels, workshops and master classes.

BASQUE. MUSIC. is a project coordinated by Musika Bulegoa in collaboration with the Etxepare Basque Institute and the Basque Government. Its goal is to enhance the international awareness and visibility of the Basque creative, cultural, and artistic scene, along with its cultural and creative industries.
