The Etxepare Basque Institute joins forces with Fira de Teatre al Carrer de Tàrrega to bring the Basque performing arts companies Mama Crea, Trapu Zaharra and Maite Guevara to the festival from September 5th to 8th.
Interactive installation suitable for all ages connected to the theme of reading. In the format of a book hospital (with waiting room, piped-in music, ICU, operating theatre...), it aims to raise awareness of the fact that taking care of our mind is as important as taking care of our body. Through various activities (individual reading or reading aloud, repairing books and writing elements), participants can discover the beauty and power of this fundamental tool for health and personal growth.

"The great collapse" is the pretext for a commercial firm to launch its star product: five-star bunkers. To promote the participants, they will host a live competition on a rectangular track where contestants will undergo various challenges. Spectators can place bets on the success of each challenge. This interactive street show talks about humiliating contests, cataclysms and anxiolytics..

Four comedians work in a haunted castle which sadly lacks visitors. Their financial situation has been precarious, relying heavily on the success of their show to make ends meet. They need the show to work and the people to tremble with fear. Everything would be so much easier if it weren´t for the fact that they themselves are the ones who are most afraid.

There will also be a Basque. Performing Arts. stand organised by the Basque Government, where the new catalogue of Basque. Performing Arts. will be available.
Founded in 1981, the festival is today an excellent showcase for the performing arts, thanks to a diverse programme that pays special attention to street arts and public space. Fira Tàrrega has become a meeting point for the performing arts on a national and international level.
