The Family Linguistic Policies of the Basque Country and Valencia (II. The Conference on Plurilingualism in the Basque Country and in the Catalan territory) will be the subject of study at the Universität Konstanz, in a conference to be held at the University of Constance on 16th April.
Following the collaboration initiated in the academic year 2023/24 between the Etxepare Institute and the Institut Ramon Llull, and with the aim of making the plurilingual realities of both communities visible, a teacher/researcher from Catalonia and the Basque Country has been invited to give a lecture that may be of interest to the students or the research community of the University of Konstanz. This year´s theme will focus on linguistics and communication in the political families of Euskal Herria and Valencia. At the same time, the sociolinguistic situation of both Basque and Catalan will be described.
On 16 April, Maite García-Ruiz, lecturer at the UPV/EHU, and Avel-li Flors, lecturer at the University of Barcelona, will take part in this meeting to be held at the Universität Konstanz.
