Etxepare Basque Institute to take part in OARA gathering of professionals

Tomorrow the Etxepare Basque Institute will participate in a meeting of professionals in Bayonne organized by OARA, the artistic office of the French region of Nouvelle Aquitaine.

 

The event, open to professional programmers, artists, and production managers, is designed to discuss the singularities of cross-border territories, meet artists who take their inspiration from the culture of a territory to develop a unique yet universal work, and talk about mechanisms for promotion and cultural dissemination.

 

One of the speakers at this conference is Irene Larraza, Director of the Etxepare Basque Institute, who will give a talk describing the Institute´s strategic projects and the mechanisms for promoting artist mobility. 

 

OARA (Office Artistique Region Nouvelle Aquitaine) is an agency promoted by the Nouvelle Aquitaine Region of France whose aim is to promote the region’s artistic development, contribute to the development of the sector, and promote the artistic and cultural offer.
