Therefore, the new direction of the Institute´s website is www.etxepare.eus. Anyway, that option is not limited to the pioneers and you can also get your ‘.eus’ domain.

‘.eus’domain is the top level domain for the Basque language and culture community. It was created in order to promote the Basque language and culture and to provide a backbone to the Basque language and culture community. Therefore, .EUS domain is a tool that holds euskera on the same level than other languages, and that will help in the normalization of euskara and will provide an international recognition for the country.

The project is now in the initiation- phase. This phase is directed mainly to domains for associations, companies, and public institutions, and serves to apply and protect domain names. The phase will end on November 18 and thereafter anyone will be able to apply for their own domain. So, to ensure that the required domain matches the name of your company or organization, interested associations should request their domain at this stage. Thus, the brand will be protected.

Domains can be ordered using the usual computer supply of the company  or at  www.domeinuak.eus.
