Call for applications now open for research or creative residency at the Frank Bidart Chair

The call for applications for a research or creative residency at the Frank Bidart Chair at California State University Bakersfield (Bakersfield, USA) is now open. The purpose of this call is to select a visiting researcher/creator for 2023.

For the purpose of supporting research projects related to culture and art or to promote creative projects, the selected expert or creator will carry out a one-month research or creative residency.

The Frank Bidart Chair was created at the Institute of Basque Studies at CSUB, California State University Bakersfield, in 2022. It will focus on the academic and/or artistic field. One of the distinctive features of this chair is that the residency program at CSUB encourages projects ranging from research to artistic creation.
