Kulunka Teatro presents ´André and Dorine´ at the Biennale Cinars international festival in Montreal. The performance will take place on 8 November at 8 p.m. in the Salle Pauline-Julien. André and Dorine´ is a non-verbal, emotion-packed play that uses masks and puppetry. Its track record speaks for itself: The show has run for 10 years, performed in over 30 countries worldwide.
Cinars is a non-profit organisation based in Montreal whose aim is to promote and protect the performing arts of Quebec and Canada. Its main activity is the Cinars Biennale, but throughout the year it organises various initiatives.
The Etxepare Basque Institute, in its effort to foster Basque culture abroad, has supported Kulunka abroad with several of its shows. Among them, the performance of ´André and Dorín´ at th 2022 Cinars Biennale. This activity is part of the Saison Québec-Pays Basque initiative promoted by the Etxepare Basque Institute.
Saison Québec-Pays Basque was created to integrate the cultural dimension in international relations between the two regions. The goal is to strengthen ties, build bridges, foster cooperation between creators and cultural agents, and to promote cultural and academic exchange.
