Basque writer Fito Rodriguez, travelling through Argentina and Brazil

The Basque writer Fito Rodriguez will travel to Argentina and Brazil to take part in different events with the support of the Etxepare Basque Institute. He will visit Buenos Aires, La Plata, Bariloche, Guapuava and Curitiba, on November 3-12.

The journey started in Buenos Aires (Argentina). Rodriguez offered the talk “Writing in a minimized language” (Escribir en una lengua minozada), and presented his book “Ensayo sobre el ensayo”. On the other hand, today, he will offer the talk ”Writing in Basque: an approach to the contemporary Basque literature” ("Escribir en vasco: un acercamiento a la literatura vasca contemporánea"), where he will talk about what motivated him to write in Basque language.

From then on, he will travel presenting his book. On November 8 he will visit the Universidad Nacional de Río Negro, Bariloche (Argentina); on November 10 the writer will be at Guarapuava (Brazil); and the journey will finish in the Universidade Federal o Paraná, Curitiba (Brazil).
