Basque. Playlist. #16 - Euskal barrokensemble
Euskara. Kultura. Mundura.
Euskal barrokensemble is an early music group created by Enrike Solinís in 2006. In addition to exploring and delving into the roots of music, they present totally innovative projects including ‘Euskelelea’, ‘Amor Brujo’, ‘Juan Sebastian Elcano, Lehen mundu bira’ and ‘Subh’.
The group´s distinctiveness lies in its fresh and intimate performances, which set it apart and make it easily recognisable. They provide a significant platform for improvisation and reinterpretation of music spanning various eras, all approached from a clearly personal perspective.
In their unique style, they have managed to earn acclaim from international critics and attract a diverse array of audiences. They have made a name for themselves on the international early music scene and have performed at the Wiener Konzerthaus, the Ludwigsburg Festival, the Stockholm Early Music Festival, the Spring Festival Prague, the Konzertgebouw in Bruges, the Regensburg Festival, the Montreal Baroque Festival, the Flamenco Bïennale Nederland, and others.
