Basque Contemporary Art at ARCO Fair

The annual International Contemporary Art Fair ARCO has opened today in Madrid.Two Basque galleries will participate this year, with financial support of the Etxepare Basque Institute: Altxerri and Carreras Múgica. The director of the Institute, Aizpea Goenaga, is also at the IFEMA center in order to promote the dissemination of the Basque artists. Altxerri has brought artworks by Selena Asins, Ignacio Uriarte, José María Yturralde and Dicky Rekalde; Carreras Mugica Gallery shows pieces by Txomin Badiola, Eduardo Chillida, Pello Irazu, Erlea Maneros Zabala, Asier Mendizabal, Itziar Okariz, Juan Pérez Agirregoikoa, Xabier Salaberria.
