"Basque Cinema" translated into French

The Basque Culture Series, edited by Etxepare Institute, is originally published in Basque, Castilian and English.
It is the third time that a book from Basque Culture Series is translated into French, after "Euskal dantza" (Basque dance), written by Oier Araolaza, and "Euskal kantagintza: pop, rock, folk", by Jon Eskisabel, both published in 2013 also thanks to the collaboration between the Etxepare Basque Institute and Euskal Kultur Erakundea.
The aim of the Basque Culture Collection is to provide updated information, interesting and attractive to the curious readers about the Basque culture. In this way the reader can have easy access to this content. The collection consists of 12 books, which deal with many aspects of our culture: language, music, dance, literature, film, bersolarism, … In "Euskal Zinema / Basque Cinema / Cinema Basque the director of the Euskadiko Filmategia (Basque Film Archives) Joxan Fernández n Eskisabel proposes a synthetic journey through one century of Basque cinema history.
The French translation of the original text in Basque hasbeen done by Kattalin Totorika. As usual regarding Institute publications, the new "Basque Cinema" edition can be downloaded for free on Etxepare Basque Institute website, and also on www.eke.org
