Arantxa Iturbe, at Wroclaw Short Story Festival

The Basque author Arantxa Iturbe will participate these days in the festival of short stories Międzynarodowy Festiwal Opowiadania that is organized in the Polish city of Wroclaw. The event, which runs from 5 to 8 October, brings together international writers to offer the public different literary events.

Iturbe will participate in the presentation-recital "Me and my enemies" ("Ja i mój wróg") along with other international writers: Kim Ae-ran (South Korea), Sylwia Chutnik (Poland), Arantxa Iturbe, Michał Nogaś (Poland), Joanna Oparek (Poland), Justyna Sobolewska (Poland), Krisztina Toth (Hungary), Dimitri Verhulst (Belgium), Daniel Wisser (Austria) and Jakub Żulczyk (Poland).

International Short Story Festival is a multidimensional celebration of short prose, aiming at the promotion of ambitious books. It concentrates on the unsual presentation of narrative forms, researches the influence of literature on other arts, provokes interactions between authors and audience, at the same time allowing the experience exchange between Polish and foreign artists.
