"Amama" and the documentary film "Bide berriak" will be screened in Mexico

The teacher at the readership of Basque language and culture of the Etxepare Basque Institute in Mexico has organized different activities for this weekend. On one hand, the film Amama will be screened at the UNAM University of Mexico D.F; on the other hand, the documentary Bide Berriak: food sovereignty in the Basque Country will be presented at the Universidad Autónoma Chapingo.
On October 14, -10 am.- they will offer the screening of the film directed by Asier Altuna at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, in original version –Basque language- with subtitles in Spanish subtitles.
From 13 to 15 October, however, they have organized the V. Congress of History and Humanism in Chapingo University. In this context, they will discussed, among others, on the precess towards food sovereignty in the Basque Country -october 15, 10.30 am.-, with the screening of the documentary Bide berriak: soberania alimentaria en Euskal Herria. Both before and after the screening different talks will be held.
