COHABITER: Bitamine Faktoria

‘COHABITER, Imaginer les médiations culturelles au 21e siècle’ (imagining cultural mediation in the 21st century) will be held in Montreal on June 1st, 2nd and 3rd. The symposium will include a roundtable discussion, ‘Imaginaires culturels des fleuves et projets de participation citoyenne´, in which Helga Massetani from Bitamine Faktoria will present the ´Atlas Emocional del Bidasoa´ project, an initiative organised by Observatoire des Médiations Culturelles.

As part of the Saison Quebec-Pays Basque cultural exchange initiative, the discussion will cover the many relationships between culture, cohesion and coexistence.

The result of the Bitamine Faktoria project is a series of educational booklets illustrated by Elena Odriozola. Ten small notebooks tell stories of a geographical space, Irun, elegantly written by María José Noain Maura in a style easily accessible to readers of all types.
